Savannah Association of Local Tours

MOSS

MOSS reflects SALT’s belief that Savannah is strongest when hospitality, service, and civic care move together — creating meaningful opportunities for residents, visitors, and local partners to take part in work that strengthens the city we share.

Overview

About MOSS

MOSS is a public-facing SALT initiative designed to connect community-minded energy with meaningful local action. As programs and events are announced, this page will serve as the public home for that work, a place to follow upcoming opportunities, learn how the initiative is taking shape, and see how SALT members continue to invest in Savannah beyond the day-to-day work of tourism.

For SALT Members

Why This Work Matters

For SALT members, MOSS also represents something deeper: a chance to demonstrate that local operators are not only part of Savannah’s visitor economy, but part of its civic fabric. That does not require grandstanding, and it is not about self-congratulation. It is about showing, through steady participation and thoughtful partnership, that our industry can contribute to the public good in ways that are visible, useful, and lasting.

Acknowledgment

With Gratitude

SALT extends warm thanks to Christina Jenner, Director of Humanitarian Outreach, whose example, care, and sustained effort have helped shape this initiative and others like it. Her work has inspired meaningful action across the organization, and her leadership continues to remind us that strong programs are built not only with vision, but with heart.
